Only thing I was underwhelmed with was the chocolate cake, which was a bit dry but otherwise good. Coffee was fine, beers were cold, glasses and flatware clean. My salad was definitely not a classic caesar and something I would usually not enjoy - too pretty, too "frou-frou-y", but I liked it none the less. Fries were excellent although there could have (should have) been a mound of them. Had aoili, pickles, tomatoes, onions, lettuce, cheddar was cooked perfectly. The burger was excellent - one of these new trendy massive burgers you can't even lift. Everything was fresh, clean, and well done. We made a reservation, got seated right away. We had a bleu cheese and ham pizza, burger, a kale caesar salad, meatball appetizer, a chocolate cake for dessert, and 3 different beers. They've renovated the downstairs, a little more urban chic, bar is now right in front of you. So we were pleased to see the reviews were all favorable and decided to try it again. Steaks would be great but everything else was mediocre. Food would be lousy but atmosphere was great. Went here three times when it was the Orchard Street ChopHouse, which was a place that just couldn't quite put it together. Keep up the good work, and keep Christopher! More Both were top notch, so much so that my mission this week is to find them at a retail store. Just about perfect.Ĭhristopher recommended two beers both from a VT Micro we hadn't heard of (and we're beer snobs) - Ten Bends Northern heights DIPA draft and Cream Puff War (a peach IPA). This was big enough for two, which meant it was a serving for me. I got a meat pizza, which was $11 plus $6 for the toppings. My wife got chicken milanese and polenta fries. yeah, coulda been a bit bigger but then I'm a pig. Good value, i had a greek salad which was top notch. Entertaining, friendly, answered all of our questions. Popped in for a casual dinner, sat at the bar.Ĭhristopher, the bar tender, was great. Been there a half dozen times, and it was consistent. ![]() Japanese Restaurants for Families in Doverīeen comning here since it was the orchard street chophouse, which was reallyl hit or miss., Sometimes great food, great service, good food lousy service, great service lousy food.Gloria Palace Amadores Thalasso & Hotel.Holiday Village Majorca - Protur Monte Safari.Hotels near (PSM) Portsmouth International Airport at Pease.Hotels near (MHT) Manchester Municipal Airport.Hotels near (PWM) Portland Intl Jetport.Hotels near Garrison Hill Park And Tower.Hotels near Bellamy River Wildlife Management Area.Hotels near Children's Museum of New Hampshire.Hotels with Complimentary Breakfast in Dover.
